"I don't even know where to start! I feel so blessed to have had Laura as our planner. I seriously could not have done it without her. Our wedding was the best day of my life and I have Laura to thank for that (and my husband, of course). With all of the wedding blogs and magazines out there, it's easy to get caught up in the madness and forget about the things that really matter. Laura was there to be my voice of reason and organize EVERYTHING so it didn't feel so overwhelming. We actually had a blast during the planning process! I apologize in advance for the rambling; I just have so many good things to say. Plus it's fun to re-live the experience :).
What I really appreciated about Laura is she made the wedding completely about us. Not just a cookie cutter wedding where you say what colors you want and everything ends up looking like every other wedding. She REALLY got to know us and was completely open to any strange ideas we had and ran with them. She asked us about the things we love and things that are specific to our relationship and brought them to life. I can't tell you how many guests are still commenting about how the wedding really felt like us and how the little details she incorporated made it so special and this is EXACTLY what I wanted. One of the first things she asked me during our first planning meeting was 'what do you want your guests to say after attending your wedding?' and my answer was 'I want them to say it was SO them.' And it was!!
On top of the amazing work she does, she is such a pleasure to be around. She really makes you feel like you are her only client. Not once did she get annoyed with my stupid questions or shut down any of my ideas. She is always so sweet and positive with the right amount of assertiveness which definitely helped on the wedding weekend! We did not have a huge budget, so our wonderful (and large) wedding party was there to help out with everything as we didn't hire a huge staff. Laura did a great job at delegating the many projects to everyone, which you can imagine would be a difficult task when half the wedding party is drunk and would probably rather be somewhere else. But the way she handled the situation was admirable and we all ended up having a really nice time and everything was completed flawlessly.
Bottom line is that hiring Laura was probably one of the smartest decisions I made for the wedding. I would suggest to everyone to get a planner (aka Laura) no matter how good you think you are at planning parties. There is a lot more to it than you think and the last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is running around chasing vendors to make sure they are following the timeline you would have spent days creating.

"I don't even know where to begin - Laura is simply the best! I honestly don't think we could have done it without her and if we had, it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun. When we started our planning process we were all over the place with our ideas. Laura really listened to what we were saying we wanted and helped us figure out how to make it a reality. She found us the best vendors and negotiated tirelessly on our behalf and we ended up with a great team of people who all worked together to make our wedding so fun and special. She also has a great eye and really helped us figure out what would look good and when we needed to edit ourselves! The night of everything was managed so seamlessly - I never had to worry about anything, everything ran like clockwork, and all of our guests had the best time. It was so nice to be able to put it all in her competent hands so that we could really relax and enjoy our wedding. So many different people described the evening to me afterwards as magical and I had so many people tell me it was the best wedding ever.
But maybe most importantly, Laura was just a joy to work with all the way through. I truly enjoyed the process because of her and she became a true friend. After the wedding I had Laura withdrawals because I was missing our near daily pre-wedding phone calls! The whole experience was truly wonderful and I sincerely cannot recommend her or her team enough!"
